In this post, we will discuss the five common beauty problems suffered by women and their easy solutions.

1. Dry Skin

Skin dryness occurs when the natural biochemical processes in the skin breakdown. People suffer from this problem due to many reasons and some of them include sun, wind, humidity, temperature, diseases, aging, bad habits such as smoking, etc.

You can easily get rid of skin dryness by making some changes to your lifestyle. For example, if you are smoker, you can look for ways to quit smoking and start incorporating more fruits and vegetables in your diet so you skin remains hydrated. Moisturizing your skin two times a day with a good body lotion that contains Vitamin E will also help keep the skin moist and smooth. For extra dry skin, moisturize throughout the day and use soap with natural oils.

2. Dark Spots

Dark spots occur when the skin produces extra melanin causing the skin to become darker in certain places.

Staying out of the sun is one of the best ways to prevent dark spots. If you have to get out in the sun, ensure that you wear protective clothing or use a moisturizer with sunscreen. Dark spots can be lightened by applying lemon juice and using exfoliating products that contain glycolic acid.

3. Frizzy Hair

Using chemical products, hair colors, relaxers and undergoing chemical treatments such as perming can damage your hair. The sun is also a culprit as it can break down protein in the hair resulting in hair damage.

To fight hair related problems, always use a heat protection serum after washing your hair and before using a blow dryer. Deep conditioning your hair at least once a week and using hydrating shampoo can also help.

4. Chapped lips

Chapped lips are a result of lack of moisture on the lips. The skin on the lips is very delicate and it does not contain any oil glands to keep them moisturized. Therefore, they get dehydrated faster and become dry and cracked. Cold weather, exposure to excessive sun and dry air can also cause chapped lips.

One of the easiest solutions to this problem is using coconut oil to moisturize the lips. You can also use sugar and a wet face towel to exfoliate dry and flaky skin on the lips. Solution of honey and olive oil applied on the lips also helps keep them soft.

5. Pimples

Pimples on the face can be really annoying for anyone. They are a common problem for teenagers and they can result from stress, wrong cosmetics, hormones, bacteria, oily skin and so on.

To prevent pimples, wash your face with an antibacterial cleanser two times a day. If there is swelling, you can reduce inflammation by applying ice cube wrapped in a small face towel. Using a concealer or corrector can also help hide redness. Another solution is using a mixture of aloe vera juice and tea tree oil to heal the skin and stimulate new skin growth.
